There are many programs and projects that are in great need of your help because government funding has been either lowered or completely eliminated due to the economic issues nationwide at this time. We thank you and our consumers thank you in advance for any assistance you may be willing to provide.

A House is Not a Home – When our clients leave Weston United’s housing and go out on their own they need many things to start anew. We are pleased to accept your contribution of any amount so that we may purchase the following necessities:
New sheets, pillows, blankets and comforters, towels and shower curtains
Eating and cooking utensils
Lamps and small appliances
Food and bathroom supplies for the first few days
New clothes for job interviews, warm jackets, shoes and boots

Art For More Than Art’s Sake – Our clients make art that is shown in our own Gallery M. They also view outside exhibitions there, or even work in the gallery space. As support for the arts dwindles, we hope you will consider one of the following areas to support:
$1,000 Pays a full month’s rent and maintenance for Gallery M
$ 500 Buys a day of special instruction for our clients who love learning to make art
$ 250 We can replenish much needed supplies in the art cupboard
$ 100 Pays museum entrance fees for up to 8 clients
$ ___ Any gift you make will go to the art program
Gaining Workplace Skills - Weston United’s Gallery M and Visionary Bookstore employ twelve clients for three hours each per week at minimum wage (currently $7.25 per hour). Working with the public and other clients who enter the gallery and book store teaches skills and builds confidence. Government funding for this program no longer exists.
A gift of any amount to the Self Help Program will help us keep the program alive!
Please send all checks payable to Weston United to the following address:
